PT Sinang Lembah Butuh is a company engaged in robusta coffee plantations, specifically smallholder plantations where most of the land is owned by Perhutani. We take an important role in the coffee industry with a focus on quality and sustainability. Our main products are various types of coffee and its derivatives, including coffee beans, sangria coffee and ready-to-consume ground coffee known under the brand “KOPI WAYANG.”

"Kopi Wayang" History
Lembah Butuh is a highland in Magelang district known for its dense forest, which is recognised by the Forestry Service. This forest is a productive land for coffee plantation. Therefore, coffee will be very good and have an original flavour if grown in this plantation. Most farmers started growing coffee since around 1965, with Robusta coffee.
The flagship product of Lembah Butuh is called Kopi Wayang. “KOPI WAYANG” is a superior product, with the name Wayang taken from the story of a farmer starting from finding a painting of the character “WAYANG” drawn on a rock in the coffee plantation area. The painting is believed to be a relic of the village’s ancestors. Wayang itself is the embodiment of human nature.
